How
Talismans Work
 |
Therefore; if you
know how to write the symbol, then you can use one symbol to change another symbol.
This is how the talismans work.
Symbols have an
immense power. Look at the Swastika, for instance; because of its use in World
War Two, it has the capacity to inspire intense reactions and emotion in people.
(It is, however, a far older symbol than that, and has had different, far more
positive meanings in the past).
|
While symbols can
be used to manipulate human existence, Man has long put them to far more powerful
uses, such as influencing the spiritual realms. Chinese philsophy and religion
have long recognised this.
| We
humans live in a world of three dimensions, but just because we perceive only
three, it does not mean there are not more. Imagine being able to only perceive
in one dimension: all you would see of things would be a dot. |
 |
Or two dimensions:
everything would be made up of flat lines. If a three dimensional object passed
through your field of vision, you would only see it as two dimensional, because
that's what you would be limited to.
Similarly, we who
perceive in three dimensions sometimes see things which are out of the ordinary;
sometimes explained as ghosts or spirits. These are entities which exist in more
dimensions than our three. Talismans can be used to bridge the gap between these
dimensions and to manipulate reality.
